Volunteering in the Community

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust's community team are looking for volunteers to assist with greenspace developments and improvements in local communities in a variety of locations across Warwickshire.

Volunteers will assist with practical improvements which could range from assisting people within their local communities to manage ponds and woodlands, planting, weeding and pruning flowerbeds or planters or helping to maintain small allotment sites.

Volunteers will also have the opportunity to assist with community consultations about greenspace improvements which could involve liaising with local councils, community and youth groups, organising events and meetings in local communities and helping to publicise greenspace improvement projects.

Volunteering with the community team is a great opportunity learn more about wildlife and the environment in the community, to meet new people, work as part of a team and build community development skills.
