Parents must accompany 4-7 year olds at all times and are welcome
to accompany older children during activities.

depths. Make friends while you take it in turns to pond dip and
create a watery creature to keep.

Adventure into the wilds and build your own
natural den. Get tribal and create a team flag or headdress.
Wednesday 28th July
Big Bug Hunt
Times: 10.30am - 12.00pm
Learn all about the minibeasts creeping in
the undergrowth on the reserve. Make a model minibeast creation to
take home.

Wacky Wind Socks - Drop in Session

Drop in any time to try your hand at making
a wind sock to take home and decorate your garden.

reserve using a simple map. Solve the puzzles along the way to find
out about the animals that live here. Make a dream-catcher to hang
at home.

Discover the deadly residents of the pond!
Escape from the pond and design your own creature of the dark.

Nature's Fairies

Search the reserve for nature's fairies.
Collect natural materials and create your own fairy wings or bird
mask.
Thursday 12th August
Willow Art - Drop in Session
Come by any time to make a huge willow
flower or perhaps a butterfly or bat. Decorate it to remind you of
summer!

Join us at the Roundhouse for a morning of
Celtic Warrior preparation. Make your own shield ready to battle

Autumn is here! Come and join us for a stroll around the reserve
and discover how plants and berries can be used for food. Have a
taste! Make a little apple and blackberry stew on the camp fire,

Family Bat and Moth Evening
Times: 7pm - 8.30pm
Come and have a look at the winged beauties
and learn about moths before heading out onto the reserve to watch
the experts of nocturnal aviation - bats.
