Tim Haselden, Wetlands Living Landscape Officer says, "After the flame colours of the autumn leaves, these early winter days seem grey and lifeless, but your eyes are deceiving you. The colour that brightens up the winter landscape is red; the brick-red of a robin's breast, the wine red of bryony berries draped like chunky-beaded necklaces over our hedgerows and the vivid, polished holly berries. And there is so much more to feast your eyes on, so why not join in with one of the work parties in our reserves and be part of the kaleidoscope of colour that is our natural world. "
