Outdoor fun this half-term

Every morning during February
Half-Term the Parkridge Centre, Brueton Park, Solihull is offering
a fantastic range of entertaining holiday education activities for
tots to 11 year olds.
'We have some fantastic activities planned this half-term which
will get your kids having fun outside. Each activity is different -
but they always get the chance to make something to take home and
have fun exploring our wonderful woodland and nature areas!' Claire

The events all take place between 10:30am and 12:00pm and cost £4
per child (£3 if a Trust member). You must book your place in
advance by calling 0121 704 0768. Parents must accompany tots to 7
year olds at all times and are welcome to accompany older children
during activities
Monday 15th February
Survival
Dens
10.30am - 12.00pm
Get Tribal! Make a rainmaker then head outdoors to see if you can
survive in the wild.
Tuesday 16th February
Woodland
Explorers
10.30am - 12.00pm
Have some fun out in the arboretum and see what can be discovered
in the woodland before coming inside to make a woodland
mobile.
Wednesday 17th February
Woodland Explorers for
Tots
10.30am - 12.00pm
For those of you aged 5 and under, have some fun out in the
arboretum and see what can be discovered in the woodland before
warming up inside with some winter crafts.
Thursday 18th February
Feed the
Birds
10.30am - 12.30pm
Help your gardens through the end of winter by making a bird
feeder. Peek through binoculars to see what birds are about.
Friday 19th February
Nature's
Detectives
10.30am - 12.00pm
Put your detective skills to the test and search the reserve for
all manner of creatures. Follow a trail and make a mammal
mask.

Halloween Family Event and we all had loads of fun making things,
exploring the woods, and listening to stories. I can't wait to
bring my kids along to one of these activities to see what they
