Michael Drummond, Living Landscapes Volunteering Officer says, "Volunteers often work in the background, playing a crucial role in helping to keep an organisation running - and now their contribution is recognised internationally because December 5 is International Volunteer Day and the United Nations Volunteers group will be reporting at the forthcoming Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. That sort of recognition is so encouraging - so be encouraged to come and join in with the rolling programme of upkeep and maintenance in our reserves. We'll be delighted to welcome you."
