Michael Drummond, Living Landscapes
Volunteering Officer says, "High summer is well and truly with us -
to the point that our gardens are parched and some water
authorities are already mentioning the dreaded words 'hosepipe
ban'. If you are finding that there is not as much to do in the
garden, but you like working with plants and being out of doors,
then we can offer you an alternative. Come and join in with one of
our work parties - there's bound to be one not too far away from
you - and help with the on-going maintenance and management work
required to keep our reserves in tip-top condition year-round. Any
contribution you can make will be warmly welcomed."
