Caroline Bailey, Living Landscapes Biodiversity Officer says, "When Wordsworth was enthusing about daffodils, he was getting excited about wild daffodils, which are more delicate than the many of the blowsy cultivars we have in our gardens and parks. Take this first class opportunity to come to Harvest Hill Nature Reserve and see this superb area of woodland carpeted with these delightful native flowers - and whilst you are there find out why the site is so good for bees, which need all the help they can get these days if we are not to see their populations die out. Inspiration and education in one visit - couldn't be better."
