Biodiversity Project Manager
Can you develop and promote
projects for biodiversity ?
Can you lead a staff team and enthuse volunteers and partners to
meet local wildlife needs?
We are seeking a manager to lead the
Habitat survey and Wildlife Sites team. This post works for the
Habitat Biodiversity Audit partnership including all local
authorities in Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull, Warwickshire
Wildlife Trust and key agencies, and is employed by the
Trust. You will need experience in people management,
knowledge of survey processes and GIS work, ability to develop
partnership work, engaging volunteers and strong ecological
knowledge.
Starting salary: £22,000 - £24,000
dependent on experience, + pension, travel expenses
Based in central Warwick. 35 hour week post

What is the Future Jobs
Fund?
The Future Jobs Fund is a fund of around £1 billion to support
the creation of jobs for long term unemployed young people and
others who face significant disadvantage in the labour market.
The Fund was announced in Budget 2009. The
fund is run by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in
partnership with the Department for Communities and Local
Government (CLG) and with input from Jobcentre Plus and Regional
Government Offices in England.
Future Jobs Fund forms part of the Young
Person's Guarantee. From early 2010, everyone between the ages of
18 and 24 who has been looking for work for a year will get an
offer of a job, work experience, or training lasting at least 6
months. The Fund aims to create 150,000 jobs. 100,000 will be aimed
at 18-24 year olds who have been out of work for minimum of 6
months - nearly a year. (26-49 weeks)

Hours: Working patterns
are flexible: typically 3-5 days per week, including
weekends.
The Role: We are seeking part-time and full-time
Membership Recruiters. Our recruiters work on behalf of the
Warwickshire Wildlife Trust at pre-booked venues and at
organised events and shows. Most shows and event work is at
weekends during the spring to autumn season.
We also operate year-round on both weekdays and weekends at other
venues within a radius of approximately one hours travel from your
home.
The role is ideal for those seeking a
career or lifestyle change or looking to supplement a pension in
retirement.
Requirements: Applicants must be enthusiastic and
reliable with above average communication and interpersonal skills.

previous experience is necessary as full training is
provided. Access to your own transport is essential.
Pay: We offer various generous income options
including bonuses. A Self-Employed/Freelance option is also
